What motivates you to do the things you do?
I feel that lot of the time, people do not do right thing because they do not have hero to guide them. They don't see that great things are possible when you put your mind to do it! While I may just be simple programmer at Yamagato Industries, I want to help save the world, like Superman!

Sample Background/Beginning post:

The neon lights of Tokyo bled through the small window in Hiro Nakamura's small apartment, casting a scintilating series of colors across the wall of the three meter by two and a half meter room. Staring at the brilliant display of chromatic decoration, Hiro sighed and closed his eyes. Not that it really mattered, as the sounds of a vibrant city from the walls beyond crept through the walls of the prefab building. Hiro didn't like to criticize Tokyo, it was a powerful city with many people interested in reigning supreme in its power while keeping the family safe, but it had its problems.

For instance, the whole issue that everyone kept to themselves and did not feel much compassion for the rest of Tokyo. There was always a lot of dashing around, and the power that was gained was never used to try and improve things. They did not listen to the wise words of Uncle Ben, that "with great power comes great responsibility".

Hiro smiled. More people could do with reading comic books more often. He gave a small tap towards the Enterprise that floated a few centimeters above his head, watching the disc of the spaceship lazily spin, a poster of the entire cast of the X-Men looking out at his apartment on the wall behind Picard's vessel.

If only I could be like the X-Men, Hiro thought, the smile growing wider. Then perhaps, perhaps I could help to show Tokyo that together we could be stronger than we are separate.

Hiro was suddenly aware that the previously shifting colors on the wall, as well as the sounds from outside had stopped. Confused and frightened at the same time, Hiro bolted up. One of the few times the city actually stopped was when some horrible event had happened.

He crossed the short distance to the window and peered outwards, and for a moment, he could have sworn that nothing moved outside, before a blink brought motion back to the streets of Tokyo. The smile slowly fell off his face, partially upset that there wasn't something bad going on outside that he could help with.

He wanted to be more than just Hiro.

He wanted to be a Hero.
